  • What Is Included In A Deep Clean?
    A Deep Clean includes the following: Kitchen (sink, dishwasher loaded & turned on, counters, microwave, cabinet & appliance faces, stove top) All exterior surfaces in all rooms Walls, ceilings & ceiling fans (spot check/dust) Blinds Floors mopped & vacuumed Bathroom (complete toilet clean, sinks, shower, handles, tub, drain, mirror) Bedroom (shelving, nightstands, bed frames, tidy up bed) All window sills Baseboards Light switches & door handles Detailed dusting Back splashes and faucet fixtures are polished All extras are not included and must be selected for additional cost.
  • How Do Recurring Cleans Work?
    After an initial Deep Clean, you have the option of starting our Recurring Clean Program. Discounts vary based on the frequency of cleaning that you choose: Monthly Cleaning - 10% discount Biweekly (Twice-A-Month) Cleaning - 15% discount Weekly Cleaning - 20% discount
  • What Is Included In A Move-In/Out Clean?
    This clean is an all-inclusive service* and our most detailed package. It is intended to turn the home into its original state and ready for new occupants. This clean includes: Everything included in a Deep Clean service Inside oven Inside fridge Inside dishwasher Inside cabinets Inside windows (ground floor) *Please note, no personal items should remain inside the home during this clean.
  • How Do I Book My Cleaning?

  • What Are Your Hours Of Operation?
    Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm
  • Am I Charged Upon Booking?
    A $50 deposit is required to book an appointment. The remaining balance will be collected after the cleaning appointment.
  • What Types Of Cleanings Do You Offer?
    We offer three types of cleaning services: Deep Clean, Move-In/Out, Interior & Exterior Window Cleaning.
  • Cancellations And Refunds?
    If you cancel before 48 hours of your booking, your deposit will be refunded to the payment information on file. If you cancel within 48 hours of your booking, you will receive a credit to use at any time. If you cancel within 24 hours, your deposit is non-refundable.
  • Is There A Rescheduling Fee?
    We do not charge for rescheduling as long as it is done before 48 hours of your original booking. Please see our Cancellations & Refunds FAQ for further information.
  • What If I Want To Skip This Week’s Clean? Will I Still Be Charged?
    No, unless it’s within the 48 hour window. If you decide to cancel within the 2-day window, the clean deposit will be credited to your account for future use.
  • Do I Have To Be Home When The Cleaners Arrive Or Depart?
    You do not! However, if it’s your first time signing up for a cleaning, initial introductions always help develop a personable relationship with your home cleaner.
  • Can I Leave A Key?
    Yes, it is actually preferred after the initial visit.
  • What If The Cleaner Finishes Early?
    We charge by the cleaning job, not by the hour. At booking, we do our best to give an estimated clean time. If our cleaner finishes earlier than expected, please know that your home still received exceptional service.
  • What If My Home Requires More Time Than Estimated?
    At booking, we do our best to determine the cleanliness of your home and give an estimated clean time. If, upon arrival, your home will take longer to clean than expected, we will give you a call with two options - either accept the updated price estimate or let us know which areas of your home you would like our cleaner to focus on for the initial price estimate.
  • Is McClean Insured?
    Yes!
  • What If Something Breaks?
    This seldom occurs, but accidents do happen. Please contact us immediately so we can make it right.
  • What If I’m Not Satisfied With My Cleaning?
    If you are not happy with the service for any reason, please call us immediately for further assistance. A re-scheduled clean must be made within 2 business days of the original appointment.
  • Do You Clean If People Smoke Indoors?
    We do not! This is a strict policy, as we are diligent to provide an excellent experience for the customer, but equally providing the safest working conditions for our cleaners.
  • Does McClean Use Toxic Cleaners?
    90% of our products are considered non-toxic for children and pets. In some instances “harsh” chemicals are strictly used on tough-to-clean areas.
  • Do You Clean Carpets?
    We spot-clean carpets & rugs. At this time, we do not offer a full professional carpet cleaning.
  • Is Tipping Normal? If So, How Much?
    Yes, it is appreciated. However, it is not required, and the percentage is entirely up to you.
  • What Does The Window Cleaning Service Consist Of?
    Our window cleaning service is a full, interior/exterior panes, screens, and tracks cleaning (ground-floor only). This is a separate service from house cleaning that requires an additional appointment.
  • Is Window Cleaning Included In A Deep Clean?
    Interior windows & tracks (ground-floor only) will be spot-cleaned during a Deep Clean. Full, interior/exterior window cleaning is a separate service that requires an additional appointment.
  • Is Window Cleaning Included In A Move-In/Out Clean?
    A detailed cleaning of interior windows & tracks (ground-floor only) is included in a Move-In/Out Clean. Exterior window cleaning is a separate service that requires an additional appointment.
  • How Much Is It To Get My Windows Cleaned?
    Give us a call! For the most accurate estimate, we will ask that you send us pictures of all ground-floor windows.
  • Is Window Cleaning Seasonal?
    Exterior window cleaning is dependent on snow-fall and access to windows.
